![What’s inside. 01 Siberian Rhubarb (ERr 731®): ‘Mimics your body’s estrogen signal and helps you to regulate your temperature and stabilize your mood. You get reduced hot flashes, night sweats, and sleep disturbances.’ 30+ years of clinical use: ‘It’s the most expensive ingredient in the formulation, because the way it’s processed ensures its purity and the makers of ERr 731® have done all the clinical trials [to provide] strong clinical evidence.’ 02 North American Black Cohosh Extract: ‘Hot flashes are really just a misfiring of neurotransmitters. This extract calms down that misfiring and helps you calm these hot flashes.’ Quality assurance: pure extract from North American source and each lot internally tested for quality assurance. ‘There have been studies showing liver toxicity issues with other forms of black cohosh. That is largely driven by this contamination of black cohosh sourced from China. So we are very careful about the sourcing of this strain.’ 03 Faecalibacterium prausnitzii: ‘As you age, your gut microbiome changes and you can lose keystone strains like F. prausnitzii. So you might be having a worse set of symptoms going through menopause because your gut microbiome doesn’t have this particular strain that helps increase free estrogen.’ 5% total gut bacteria: studies show it’s a keystone strain responsible for 5% total gut bacteria. It’s anaerobic, so Pendulum will be the first to manufacture and bring this live strain to market in a menopause product. 04 Bifidobacterium infantis: ‘This strain helps you convert your complex fibers into B vitamins and short chain fatty acids. It has a lot of overall gut health benefits.’ F. prausnitzii’s fiber partner: this strain is well researched and has cross-feeding with Faecalibacterium prausnitzii. Bifidobacterium infantis converts fibers into energy and acetate. The acetate is consumed by Faecalibacterium prausnitzii and converted into butyrate. 05 Akkermansia muciniphila: ‘As we go through menopause, our metabolism gets all messed up. This strain stimulates your body’s natural GLP-1. It’s a strain that we lose as we age, periods of stress, and when we take antibiotics. You can’t find it in any food or beverage. It’s only ever been found in mother’s breast milk.’ First to market: ‘Pendulum is the first company to figure out how to grow and market this strain to deliver it to your gut microbiome and start to stimulate your body’s natural GLP-1 signaling.’ Shop the formulation.](https://nyc3.spaces.inboxarchive.org/email-images/3b7750d654dc4423c24942aa2584cce581f392d8.png "What’s inside. 01 Siberian Rhubarb (ERr 731®): ‘Mimics your body’s estrogen signal and helps you to regulate your temperature and stabilize your mood.
