Some weeks, the GM News desk brims with human narratives. Others remind us that, at the end of the day, GM produces some of the best cars on earth.
Leading off, the Cadillac CELESTIQ Night Test debuted. Inspired by the quiet, after-hours world where performance is honed, this one-of-one commission illustrates how a bespoke vehicle can embody a singular creative vision.
It’d be hard to imagine a more stunning car.
Well, maybe not: Paired to the CELESTIQ Night Test’s debut, an elevated customization program for Cadillac’s flagship electric SUV also stepped forward. Curated by Cadillac now extends the brands low-volume concierge experience to the ESCALADE IQ. But that wasn’t the last stunning Cadillac on offer this week: meet the V-ONE concept, marrying luxury to championship-winning race technology.
And for the sneakerheads among our readership, Chevy, Devin Booker and Nike teamed up for an Impala-inspired sneaker collection. I’m more of a Western boots kinda guy, but the “Pretty Penny” sneaker, which drops in Detroit on Saturday during the Woodward Dream Cruise, will tempt many wallets.
Sure, the people here at GM make it great, but this week reminded us those people also make great things.
Go out and make something great,
