Cadillac’s technology leadership, Chevrolet’s racing double-header, GMC EVs, and more

We may be heading into Labor Day Weekend, but at General Motors, the hard work and impressive achievements never slow down – and GM News is here to share it all.

This week, we took a look at the technology that powers the Cadillac ESCALADE IQ. This all-electric luxury SUV shows how GM puts customers first by understanding how drivers use their vehicles, then engineering technology around those needs. In fact, in GM’s own studies, the ESCALADE IQ delivered a significantly more appealing customer experience than competitors in the segment.

“When you’re engineering a product as iconic as an Escalade, the pressure’s high to wow a discerning customer group,” said Mandi Damman, executive chief engineer for the ESCALADE IQ. “Every piece of tech, from the pillar-to-pillar screen to each camera, has to be beautifully integrated.”

We also brought you a first look at the Cadillac Racquet Club x Sporty & Rich capsule collection. This eight-piece limited-edition apparel collaboration was inspired by the timeless style of tennis and Americana, pairing Cadillac’s design heritage and modern luxury with Sporty & Rich’s signature take on vintage athletic leisure. Find out about each piece in the collection here.

And in the racing world, we took you behind the scenes of Arrow McLaren’s INDYCAR double-header, which featured a wardrobe change of sorts, as the Chevrolet-powered race car’s entire livery was swapped out between the Saturday and Sunday races. The Sunday livery highlighted Future Techs, an automotive service technician recruitment initiative designed to introduce and connect prospective students to GM’s Automotive Service Educational Program. Sponsored by GM and participating dealers, this two-year Associate’s Degree program mixes classroom and hands-on learning with paid, on-the-job training to prepare students for successful careers in automotive service.

Finally, we brought you a thorough look at every GMC electric vehicle for sale today. Whether you’re looking for a hardworking pickup truck, a luxurious SUV, or a capable off-roader, there’s an all-electric GMC to suit your needs.

Enjoy the holiday weekend!
