Tailgate season and STEM students

Forget the falling leaves, there’s no surer sign of autumn than this: tailgating has returned. With football finally filling college campuses and pro stadiums this week, it’s again time to swing open that tailgate—or pop that trunk—to gather, and to celebrate. In case you’re a novice, we’ve got a guide to throwing the perfect pickup tailgate party. Crack open the bean dip and dive in.

Not a sportsball fan? See how GM Racing sparked STEM enthusiasm at last weekend’s Lone Star Le Mans. Ahead of the race at Texas’s Circuit of the America’s, 78 ninth-grade students took part in structured STEM modules that connected rigorous classroom concepts to real motorsports applications.

Whatever your sport of choice, we wish you a happy fall.
