Forget the falling leaves, there’s no surer sign of autumn than this: tailgating has returned. With football finally filling college campuses and pro stadiums this week, it’s again time to swing open that tailgate—or pop that trunk—to gather, and to celebrate. Not a sportsball fan? See how GM Racing sparked STEM enthusiasm at last weekend’s Lone Star Le Mans. Ahead of the race at Texas’s Circuit of the America’s, 78 ninth-grade students took part in structured STEM modules that connected rigorous classroom concepts to real motorsports applications.
