Your exceptional work is already out there, but new fans just haven't seen it yet. Let's change that. Malte Dueholm, the creator of watchpaintdry_minis, was already spending every available hour on his craft and sharing it with the world. When he heard about Quips, his first thought was: where would he find the time? It turns out he didn't need much. Just enough to pick a post he'd already shared on Instagram, find the original file, and upload it as a Quip. In the last 30 days, those recycled posts drove over one-third of his revenue. See how Malte did it!
Give an old post new life
Pick something you've already made and share it as a Quip. Maybe it's a piece you're proud of, something that got great engagement, or work that really represents you. Why this works: New fans scrolling the feed have never seen your old work. A throwback gives them a taste of what you create with little additional effort.
Here's how to do it | Already shared it on Patreon as a post for your members? Go to your Library, find the post, and reshare it as a Quip. On mobile, tap the 'Share' button and select 'Reshare'. On web, paste the post link directly into the Quip composer. Posted it somewhere else first? Find the original file — whether that's in your camera roll, Google Photos, or wherever you save your work — and upload it directly into the Quip composer. Add a line about why you love it, and share it with the Patreon community. No need to create anything new. That's it. That's your easiest Quip yet.
Pro tip: Older posts work best—something from many months ago (even years!) that new fans would never scroll back to find. Want more inspiration? Browse our resources for more examples, tutorials, and answers to common questions.
