Driving is so much more than just your relationship to the wheel and pedals. It’s the feel of a humming V8, that perfect playlist, and a cabin’s quietude; a great User Interface (UI) ties it all together.

This week, GM unveiled a new User Interface for pickups. The new interface unifies software, hardware, and design to deliver effortless control during every drive. Find out how customer feedback influenced this new UI in an interview with the designers who dreamed it up.

With this massive UI update, it’s a reminder of the constant push for progress inside GM. From the start, GM has innovated new ways in which cars and people interact, especially when it comes to customers’ safety. Take a look through GM’s long history safety “firsts.”

Finally, another huge announcement broke cover: GM’s legendary small-block V8 enters its next generation with more power and capability. The available Gen-6 small-block V8 family brings more power, torque and advanced technologies to GM’s next-generation light-duty trucks.
