In the 1950s, Italy took the penny loafer and made it their own—doubling down on the Ivy-League classic with supple leather, precise craftsmanship, and a sharp-yet-laid-back look. Our longtime friends at Astorflex are keeping that tradition alive, seven generations later, in their family-owned shoemaking workshop in Northern Italy. Their newest batch proves it.
