About Inbox Archive
Inbox Archive is a free email marketing archive that captures real brand campaigns straight from the inbox and shows them as live HTML, so email marketers, copywriters and growth teams can study what brands actually send.
It holds 5,693 campaigns from 168 brands, and 2,318 arrived in the last 30 days.

What Inbox Archive does
A searchable gallery of real campaigns
Filter the gallery by brand, 12 campaign types, industry, sending platform or promo code, and a brief turns into a page of real examples in a couple of clicks.
Brand pages you can follow
Each brand has its campaigns in order and how often it sends. Follow one and its new emails land in your feed or a private RSS feed, so watching a competitor becomes a habit.
Promo code history
Codes are pulled out of every campaign. The coupons pages show which code a brand sent, how long it ran and the email that carried it.
Insights from real sends
Insights counts the whole archive: busiest send days and hours, subject-line length, campaign mix and ESP share. Measured from mail, not surveys.
What makes Inbox Archive different
Live HTML, not a picture
Inbox Archive: Every campaign renders as the HTML the brand sent, with the source one tab away.
Elsewhere: Really Good Emails shows each email as a static image, with the code on a separate tab.
Every email, not a best-of
Inbox Archive: Everything a published brand sends is archived, the ordinary weekly sends included.
Elsewhere: Really Good Emails is curated and says it accepts only 10 to 20% of submitted emails.
Free, with nothing to upgrade to
Inbox Archive: There is no paid tier. Every page is the whole product.
Elsewhere: MailCharts no longer lists prices: its pricing page redirects to Litmus.
No sign-up wall
Inbox Archive: Emails, HTML, brand pages and insights are all open without an account.
Elsewhere: Email Love asks for an account before showing its brand insights and trend reports.
The sending stack, from the raw message
Inbox Archive: The ESP, the tracking tech, and each brand's DMARC, SPF and BIMI records (the DNS settings that prove mail is really theirs).
Elsewhere: A screenshot or a pasted template cannot show any of it.
How Inbox Archive works
-
1Subscribe
Dedicated inboxes sign up to brand newsletters like any customer would.
-
2Archive
Each email is stored the moment it lands, with its headers and full HTML.
-
3Clean up
Images are copied to our storage, one-time passwords redacted and tracking pixels removed, so viewing never pings the sender.
Getting started
Nothing to set up: every page, email and HTML source is open without an account. A free account, with email or Google sign-in, adds likes, saved collections, brand follows and a personal feed.
Who you'll talk to
The founder reads every message, and email is the only channel. Write to [email protected] for questions and partnerships, or [email protected] for takedowns (see the legal page).
Requesting a brand
Suggest one from the brands page. A new sender is checked by hand before it is published; from then on, every campaign it sends appears as it arrives.
Who Inbox Archive is for
- Email and CRM marketers at ecommerce and DTC brands planning a campaign calendar, from welcome flows to Black Friday.
- Copywriters looking for subject lines, preheaders and offers real brands have shipped.
- Email designers and developers who need working HTML to study, not a flat screenshot.
- Freelancers and small email agencies building swipe files and pitches for one industry.
- Lifecycle and growth teams tracking what two or three direct competitors send, and how often.
- Martech sales, partnerships and product teams researching which brands use which ESP and tracking tools.
The team behind Inbox Archive
Matthieu Fauveau
Founder of Inbox Archive, co-founder of Alterable
Matthieu (Matt) Fauveau is a software architect and co-founder of Alterable (opens in a new tab), which makes personalized, real-time images for email. That work meant studying a lot of other brands' campaigns, and the good ones kept vanishing into an inbox or a folder of screenshots.
Inbox Archive began as a way to keep them, as real HTML, and opened to the public on July 7, 2026. It is a one-person project backed by Alterable: Matt writes the code and curates the archive, and everything else is automated.

Frequently asked questions
Is Inbox Archive free?
Yes, and there is no paid tier. Every email, its HTML source and the insights are open without an account; a free account adds likes, collections, brand follows and a personal RSS feed.
Where do the emails come from?
Dedicated inboxes that subscribe to brand newsletters like any customer. Every email a published brand sends is archived automatically as it arrives, unedited.
Can I copy the HTML of an email?
Yes. Every email page has an HTML tab with the full source as received, minus redacted secrets and tracking pixels, to study or to start your own template from.
How is the sending platform (ESP) detected?
From the message headers and sending infrastructure, with click-tracking domains as a fallback. Platforms such as Klaviyo or Braze rank above delivery networks such as SendGrid; see every detected platform.
Can a brand ask for its emails to be removed?
Yes. Email [email protected] and the brand's content is replaced by a removal notice across the site. The legal page says what to include.
Can I suggest a brand to archive?
Yes, from the brands page or by writing to [email protected]. A new sender is checked by hand before its emails are published.
How is Inbox Archive related to Alterable?
Inbox Archive is an Alterable project. Alterable makes personalized, real-time email images; the archive flags emails that use that kind of content but covers every brand and platform without favoring anyone.
