Garmin announces the expansion of its guided visual approaches with 12 new runways at eight airports. The company now offers 77 approaches across 56 North American airports, including five in Mexico, available to Guided Visuals database subscribers. These procedures can be viewed on select avionics and the Garmin Pilot app.

NEW GUIDED VISUAL APPROACHES
We’ve expanded our list of guided visual approaches with 12 new runways at eight new airports — bringing our totals to 77 approaches across 56 North American airports, including five now in Mexico. Available to Guided Visuals database subscribers, these procedures are displayed as RNAV G approaches1. They’re loaded into your integrated flight deck or navigator the same way as traditional approaches, so you no longer have to “eyeball” your way to the runway.
