When I ran a Tour de France team, we hunted for every 1% we could find. Small gains that don't look like much on their own, but stack them up and they become something real. This week is five of those.

1. SLIDE, DON'T WALK

The product I'm dying to get, and for sure the hottest gift of the year for athletes: the Hyperice x Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide. It's a slide (sandal) that heats up and vibrates. Do you really need to know more?

You do? Okay. Slip them on in the morning to warm up your feet before training. Workout done? Slide them back on and let them run while you are stretching. And the sole makes them the best slide you've ever worn before you even turn anything on, a foot massage that happens to come with legendary Nike Air Zoom cushioning attached.

Hyperice and Nike nailed it with this one. In my opinion, it's the most exciting product either has delivered this year. Ever since these were announced, my old slides, well… look old. We had a good run. But they just can't compete with a daily spa appointment for my feet.
