Standard issue for armored vehicle crews during WWII,the original Tanker Jacket was a practical and pragmatic design that wouldn’t snag on levers, hatches, or controls as soldiers moved around within. The new version of Relwen’s Tanker Jacket, reworked in partnership with founder Jamie Rupp based on your feedback, expands on that approach. Balancing military utility with timeless tailoring, the Quilted Thermal Tanker Jacket features an updated construction, a refined fit, and heavier insulation, without adding bulk. It’s built from a soft, suede-like peached poly-cotton-nylon shell—with a rain-resistant coating on the backside—stitched through to its liner to prevent tears and keep the insulation in place. And as a nod to the earliest Tankers, it has an upright, wool-coated collar, functional pockets, and an adjustable waist.
