Positive Impact from Owning a Tesla

Every Tesla vehicle covers its own manufacturing emissions impact after just four years of driving and avoids about 32 metric tons of CO2e over its lifetime.1 So the more its driven, the better the impact.

37M Metric Tons of CO2e Avoided

In 2025, our customers avoided releasing nearly 37 million metric tons of CO2e into the Earth's atmosphere. That's the same as gas cars being driven about 90 billion miles.2

Model 3 costs less than the average new vehicle in the U.S., making it more financially accessible to more drivers. It also costs three-times less to power.3 And when driven with Full Self-Driving (Supervised)4 engaged, it's 5% more efficient.5
