Next-gen Silverado bows
At GM, it doesn’t get much bigger than this: sending a next-gen pickup truck into the world. Of course, you already know the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado. While the truck was officially unveiled earlier this year, the media finally took their first look at the refreshed rig this week, offering initial in-the-metal exposure.
The early impressions are in, and it seems many reviewers are already enamored.
Changes abound for this next-gen truck, so we offer you a handy guide: Everything new for the 2027 Silverado. Headlined by a pair of brand new small-block V8s and a gorgeous new user interface, there’s plenty to dissect. This important product launch comes off the heels of Model Year 2026 ending, even as last year’s trucks are still winning major media awards.
It’s been a massive year for trucks at General Motors, of course, alongside major updates to the Corvette lineup that won it a place among the 10 best propulsion systems on the market, plus a landmark EV anniversary. Yet there’s still so much more on the horizon for General Motors this year.
Until we get there, we’ll keep on truckin’.
